Details
Daniel Hauger studied classical music with Jean-George Koerper and traditional Jazz at the Swiss School of Jazz in Bern in Switzerland. He followed many training courses with Clifford Jordan, Eric Watson, Tim Berne, Alan Silva, Claude Barthélémy and at Berkeley in Boston, IACP Paris. His experience with the Lizard Lounge music of John Lurie dictated his artistic career path from then on. He assembled the band '1 Peu Fou- Strange Jazz' with Francois Heyer, inspired by soundtracks and Free Jazz. He directed the majority of the bands acts with which he performed all over in Europe. Daniel Hauger played in the band 'Skye My Husband', Saxomanie, L'Autre Orchestre, Orphéonist Orkestra, the Free Music Festival of Mulhouse, Musica Strasbourg and in many festivals in Switzerland and Europe.
